Send a broadcast

A broadcast sends one approved template to many WhatsApp contacts.

  1. Open Broadcasts → New broadcast.
  2. Name it and choose the WhatsApp number. The template list shows the approved templates of that number's business account.
  3. Pick the template and fill its variables.
  4. Choose the audience: all contacts, or a contact list. Contacts who opted out are skipped.
  5. Send now or schedule.

What happens next​

Messages go out at about 50 per minute. The campaign page shows sent, failed and skipped counts and updates live. Each send appears in the customer's conversation as the template text, so the AI knows what the customer is replying to.

Replies to a broadcast arrive in the Inbox like any message, and the AI answers them with the broadcast as context.

Opt-outs​

A customer who replies with STOP (or your configured keyword) is marked opted out and excluded from future broadcasts.
