X (Twitter)

Loomi handles X direct messages, encrypted X Chat conversations, and mentions of your account.

Connect​

  1. Open Settings → Channels → X and click Connect.
  2. Sign in to the X account and authorise Loomi.

Your plan must include the X channel.

Direct messages​

Standard DMs arrive in the Inbox and the AI replies like on any channel. X only delivers DMs from people who follow you or whom you follow; others land in X's Requests folder.

Encrypted chats​

X upgrades a thread to end-to-end encryption once both sides have set up X Chat. To read and answer those in Loomi, enter the account's X Chat passcode in the Encrypted chats section of the X tab. Loomi then shares the account's identity with the phone and both see the same conversation.

Mentions and replies​

Turn on Track mentions to receive posts that mention you or reply to your posts in Comments, with sentiment and a suggested reply. You can reply publicly, hide a reply to your own post, or move the person to a DM.

Fees​

X charges for its API per message and per post read. Loomi passes those fees through at X's price plus a small bank charge, from a separate USD wallet. See X fees.

Inbound protection​

If an account is flooded with inbound messages (a bot attack), Loomi pauses the X connection automatically once an hourly threshold is exceeded and shows a banner with a resume button, so a flood cannot run up fees.
